I visited Pinnocio in the heart of Bergen, and it turned out to be a lovely experience. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Our waitress mentioned it was her first day, but she was attentive, kind, and very helpful throughout the evening. We ordered three small plates to share along with dessert. Both the mushroom toast and the hummus were flavorful and well-prepared, and the dessert was just as enjoyable. Overall, I had a great time at Pinnocio and left completely satisfied,something I can’t always say about other restaurants in Bergen. Highly recommended!

Great atmosphere, staff, owners, and not least, the food. Small dishes with a lot of flavours. If you are in for the evening, order 3-4 dishes, if just in for a nibble, get 2. We had Scampi, Beef cheeks(long cooked beef, plenty tender and loads of taste) and fries. You might not get the same as they serve from what ingredients they want/can source at the quality they require. It is a must visit if you are in the area, and if you are spending the night in Bergen it is worth going a bit out of your way to enjoy an evening here. PS. Ask for wine pairings, they know what you want. Trust me. Price pr dish is absolutely ok. Our price tagged is based on 3 dishes and drinks.

Pinocchio was such a wonderful dining experience! The food was absolutely amazing — full of flavor and beautifully prepared. What really stood out, though, was the owner’s personable and welcoming presence, which made the evening feel extra special. A cozy spot with great food and even better hospitality — highly recommend!

Where to even start! We came in without reservation during a day trip to Bergen on a cruise. The owners were SO SO FRIENDLY and kind, and the food was out of this world. Highly recommend if you’re in town. My fave was the halloumi, and my partner loved the beef cheek.

Pinocchio is a HIDDEN GEM in Bergen and I would 10/10 recommend! One of the best meals I’ve had and likely the best restaurant experience in my time in Norway. The vibes in this restaurant were immaculate and Chef Jason and his wife, Linn, were amazing hosts. The service, comfort and welcomeness by the staff was top class. The chef is Michelin star talent and these dishes are Michelin star worthy. The food and flavors are creative without losing its taste and hardiness. This is one to watch for the Michelin folks the next time they’re in Bergen. Definitely try to book a reservation in advance as this place fills up quickly and booking can be difficult the day/week of. You may get lucky and find a spot in the bar area if there’s room. If you’re searching around looking for the perfect place to go for dinner in Bergen, look no further, this is your sign. Pinocchio was fantastic and I really enjoyed my dining experience with them.
