Other than the 45 degree slope outside so the tables are wonky and you better keep your eye on your wine glass or it may just slide off, Løvetann is perfection. The food is good, the wine is good, the limited service is good and the surroundings are priceless! Get away from the tourist hubbub and wine & dine where the locals are!
Excellent experience eating there. The food was really good. The coffee was fine I don't think they are familiar with complicated American style drink orders. Even so, everything we had was of high quality. I highly suggest the chicken which was perfectly spiced and cooked. It was a surprise how good it was and made the whole wait worth it. Give it a go!
It wasn’t easy to find a place with savory breakfast / brunch. Løvetann Café & Bistro delivered! Awesome Food, good coffee and chilled vibes. (I had the Sourdough Bread with the norwegian salmon salad and labneh - absoloutly loved it)
Lots of veggie options and interesting middle eastern flavors. Lunch: Excellent roast cabbage on hummus, delicious tomato soup, flavorful house made pasta with shrimp. Breakfast/brunch options also looked very good. Tiny inside space … lots of seating outside. Friendly server at the counter where you order,
Delicious food, tasty wine, and a relaxed atmosphere. The service was excellent!!! When I couldn't decide between two wines, I was given a small taste of each to help me choose. (I got the Alice white wine. YUMMY!!) Then, she shared the story of the wine maker with me. So thoughtful for her to share it and special for me to know the background of the wine!!
