The food was surprisingly mediocre (though it looked beautiful). Especially considering the price. The most flavorful thing was the dessert which was quite good. Nothing was bad tasting, just flavorless and bland (for example, the curry was incredibly bland). The service was attentive, with great wine recommendations. It’s right in town making it easily accessible but reservations seem necessary. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it as your money will simply be better spent elsewhere.

Had a wonderful time here. They definitely take pride in providing a curated dining experience, and it shows! If you're in the market for a beautifully cultivated, uniquely flavored, multi-course meal with vibrancy to delight your eyes, this is your spot.

Came here for dinner and did 3 course with wine pairing. The staff were very informative and welcoming. The food was also delicious and loved the wine pairing. Definitely recommend.

A dining experience I still think about, even two years later. I should’ve written this long ago—it truly left a lasting impression. The hospitality was exceptional: warm, knowledgeable, and effortlessly accommodating. The food struck that rare balance of inventive yet approachable, each dish full of thoughtful surprises. The space is small and intimate, but that only added to the charm—everyone around us seemed just as delighted to be there. If you’re visiting Bergen, this spot is an absolute must.

Recommended but with reservations.. First to what really worked well. The service was friendly, efficient, informative. Very nice people. Professional. The plants hanging around the restaurant were calming and the serving dishes were well thought out and accentuated the dishes thematically. The food unfortunately was a mixed bag. The duck dish was quite nice, good quality meat, chanterelle mushrooms were nicely seasoned. the flavors worked together. Paul’s Garden delivered a dissonant layering that produced a smooth coherent flavor, visually pleasant result. And the first dessert which included a lemon verbena ice cream with raspberries was tasty. The other three dishes were lackluster. The langoustine was perched on what tasted like a glorified tabouli salad. That really didn’t succeed. Either did the accompanying sauce which had very little potency or nuance. The halibut was probably the biggest disappointment: the fish had very little flavor by itself. Definitely the most bland halibut we’ve tasted (aside from my own highly questionable cooking…) and the sauce failed. It just didn’t have much personality and didn’t lend flavor to the dishes thematically. In summary: excellent service, calming decor, half the dishes worked, sauces failed and fish failed. My advice: try the 4 course menu and choose the duck and the raspberry verbena dessert.
