Wow, what a beautiful place. They seem to be fully booked very often but we're able to squeeze me in for lunch. I was served some free homemade bread which was delicious and well worth having. I ordered a Goose Gizzard starter, which I've never eaten before, but was like bites of darker meat on chicken, but more nutty, will have to have again sometime. I then ordered the Wild Boar main, which was cooked perfectly, and simply fell apart, and combined perfectly with the creamed potatoes and cabbage The most incredible thing about this place, despite its popularity and its quality, is the price! This came to just 108 zl for me, so around £23 when converted. Amazing! Thank you to the staff for being so accommodating
Very good impression overall. Food was delicious! We took a tasting menu - was too much for person unless you really hungry.
Very good restaurant. Meals were high quality, no gimmicks, just fresh & excellent tasre. Huge plus for tap water with no charge, which is still not common in PL.
First of all, I think this has been one of the best value for money lunches I had all over Europe. Around 13 euros for homemade bread, a soup, eggplant with cous cous and tapioka desert. The eggplant was not cooked enough and therefore still hard. The soup was amazing and the sweet also good. We got free water next to drinks!
Outstanding Polish classics done right: delicate tartare, melt-in-the-mouth gizzards, and the best duck I’ve had. Beautiful wine and exemplary, unobtrusive service. A masterclass in hospitality.
