Our delegation was guided by the Tur to this Indonesian restaurant — and what an incredible experience it was! The flavors were absolutely exquisite — a stunning, delicious blend of spices in perfect harmony. Every dish was a celebration of taste and tradition. We were truly delighted! A heartfelt thank you to our waiter Rizal for his warm hospitality and attentive service🙏🏻💓🌞
Absolutely amazing experience! If I could give 20 stars instead of 5, I would. The food was incredibly delicious. I especially recommend the Mie Kuah Medan, it was out of this world. The atmosphere was lovely, and the waitress was absolutely the kindest person in Warsaw haha. The service was fast, friendly, and always helpful. I’ll definitely be coming back if I visit Warsaw!
This unique Indonesian restaurant offers a wonderful escape into the vibrant flavors of Southeast Asia. Food is fresh, full of intense and authentic tastes that truly transport you to Indonesia. The menu is interesting and diverse, perfect for anyone eager to explore new and exotic flavors. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a charming and slightly exotic vibe that makes dining here feel like a special adventure. The staff are friendly and attentive, always ready to help you discover the best dishes or recommend something new. If you’re looking to try something different and enjoy genuine Indonesian cuisine in a cozy, welcoming setting, this place is definitely worth a visit!
We enjoyed a delicious dinner at this charming Indonesian restaurant in the old town. The food was exceptionally good and had an authentically Indonesian taste. Our appetizers, Satay Ayam Madura (chicken satay) and Tempe Mendoan, practically melted in our mouths. My main course, Rendang Padang, lived up to its menu claim of being the most delicious dish in the world—it truly was outstanding. The same goes for my companion's Mie Kuah Medan. The service was friendly, albeit a bit slow at first—apparently we arrived at an unexpectedly quiet time. The price level is reasonable considering the quality and location. We can recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates Asian flavors.
While visiting Warsaw, we were really craving Thai food and stumbled across Sambal when searching nearby options. Although it wasn’t Thai, the Indonesian menu intrigued us — and wow, are we glad we gave it a go! As someone who absolutely loves Asian cuisine, I can honestly say this was one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. The tempeh was a revelation — not meat, but with a satisfyingly meaty texture, and served with a sticky, spicy sauce that was packed with flavour. The beef rendang was beautifully tender, slow-cooked to perfection until it was falling apart, and bursting with deep, rich taste. The lamb skewers were equally outstanding — juicy, well-seasoned, and grilled to perfection. Even though we were full, we couldn’t resist the fried banana for dessert — and it did not disappoint. If you’re in Warsaw and craving Asian food, I wholeheartedly recommend Sambal. It’s an absolute gem — bold flavours, authentic dishes, and a dining experience you won’t forget.
