Marinated herring with oil and onion, served with apple and leek salad, was very good. The mushroom soup and the soup with eggs and white sausage were also delicious. The goose dumplings and the main dish of duck leg were incredibly fantastic—I’ve never tasted these dishes in Taiwan. It was a wonderful dinner on my last day in Warsaw.
This was the best food I've had in a long time and the best perogies I've ever had in my life! The Polish apple pie was also delicious. The staff are helpful and friendly. The restaurant is clean and has an authentic Polish atmosphere. I would highly recommend Delicja.
The best thing about this restaurant is the interior. It's lovely and well appointed - perfect for a romantic evening. Unfortunately, the food and service didn't live up to the decor. We were one of two tables for our waitress, but she was impatient and we repeatedly had to ask for simple things like water refills. The menu has no options for kids at all and they couldn't even accommodate simple requests like buttered noodles. The bread wasn't tasty and nearly every entree came covered in an off-putting brown sauce that never fit the dish. They were told we were celebrating a birthday but never made any mention of it. We left underwhelmed and disappointed.
Pawel created such an amazing experience for us ! The food was outstanding, he had excellent wine pairing recommendations and the service was exceptional all evening.
Excellent food, so fresh and with slight twist. Smoked pierogi, or duck pierogi, not to mention fowl. So many bad restaurants around this is a gem.
