I absolutely love Stary Dom! The atmosphere is warm, charming, and full of character it feels like stepping into a place with history and soul. The service is friendly and attentive, making you feel truly welcomed. The food is simply amazing every dish is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The flavors are rich and authentic, and you can tell a lot of love and care goes into the cooking. It’s the kind of place where every bite makes you want to come back again. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates great food in a cozy, elegant setting!
Stary Dom is one of those places that just gets it right. The service is spot on being warm, attentive, never overbearing; the kind that makes you feel looked after without even noticing. And the beef tartar? Easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Prepared at the table, full of flavour, sharp, clean, and unforgettable. This isn’t a restaurant trying too hard; it’s a restaurant that knows exactly who it is. Tradition, craft, and genuine hospitality all rolled into one. A place I’d go back to in a heartbeat!!!!!!
Our first meal in Europe was at this restaurant, we were taken by our polish friends and even they said this place was great. We order, beer, traditional Polish entrees, and the main dish, mine was slow cooked beef cheek, was out of this world. My favorite was the potato dumplings with meat inside (I forgot the name). They call Warsaw the “Paris of the East” and after this introduction, I will return; however, if you want to try some amazing food, come here.
If you want a polish fine dining experience without the snobbery, come here. The food is excellent, service is on point and atmosphere & setting is beautiful. The steak tatar - best we’ve ever had, every dish we ordered was fantastic. Highly recommend!
This restaurant offers a truly fancy setting for experiencing Polish cuisine. The local dishes were beautifully presented and very good, demonstrating skilled preparation and authentic flavors. However, be prepared for the bill – it's quite expensive. It's a lovely spot for a special occasion, but the pricing prevents it from being a regular indulgence. Overall, a good experience if budget isn't a primary concern.
