Overall, very good! Friendly and helpful service, nice interior design. I gave 4 stars to food, even though it's really tasty, only because it lacks some less-fatty and calories-rich choices. Portions are huge and some of them would be enough for 2.
The fried potatoes with bacon were really good and the beer was great but the schnitzel was so so. The service was good even though they were pretty busy. Overall a good experience. The bread and shots at the end were a nice addition.
I like the food only, but the rest minus is enough for me not to come here again. First of all it's super loud, we couldn't hear each other with my friend because drunk ppl literally shouted not talk normally. Second thing, on one other visit, there was a Ukrainian waitress who looks at you in a very mean way. As a foreigner I used a Polish word, and she corrected me in English and looked at me the way that "I shouldn't use Polish words if I can't pronounce them perfectly". I don't like this behavior. My Polish friend told me that she is not even a local.
U Szwejka is a fun and cozy restaurant with great atmosphere. The portions are big, the food is pretty good and the prices are fair. It’s a great place to try hearty Czech and Polish dishes, like goulash and schnitzel. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick.
Nice dishes. It is crowded, I waited queue to sit, but didn't wait too much. They are very kind. I tried gulash meal, It was good.
