Helpful staff (they don't get 10% off the bill for nothing), but lack of attention to detail, when eating lamb, it would be a good idea to change the knives to sharp ones. The lamb is average in taste, but the octopus, tartare and shrimp are very tasty.
The place is really nice. Atmosphere and service are exceptional! From the first minute of entering the place you feel extremely warmly welcomed! Probably this is the best service I have experienced in Warsaw so far. When it comes to food, I put 4 out of 5 because quality is really good but not for the price it is stated there. Italian cuisine is my “home” food and I always buy products from different Italian stores and I for sure cannot tell that there was something outstanding in the offer for the value requested. In Tiramisu just a little bit of rum in the ladyfingers was missing for the ideal state in my subjective opinion 😄 All in all, very strong 4.5 out of 5 to this place!
Our recent visit to this restaurant left us quite disappointed. While we had hoped for an enjoyable dining experience, several aspects fell short of expectations.Upon entering, we immediately noticed the dim lighting, which made the ambiance feel less inviting than we would have preferred. The most significant letdown, however, was the food. For an Italian restaurant, we expected authentic and flavorful dishes, but unfortunately, the quality was simply not up to par. The flavors were uninspired, and the overall execution of the dishes was underwhelming.Adding to the disappointment was the pricing. We paid 1200zl for three starters (2 tomato salads and one focaccia) and three main courses (rabbit steak and squid) which felt excessively high given the mediocre quality of the food. The value for money was certainly not there.Regarding the service, our waiter, while not overtly hostile, was not particularly friendly or engaging. We made an effort to speak Polish, but he consistently responded in English, which felt a bit dismissive. While this wasn't our primary concern (as good food is paramount for us), it contributed to a less than ideal experience. In conclusion, our visit to this Italian restaurant was unfortunately disappointing. The combination of the dark atmosphere, subpar food quality, and exorbitant prices makes it difficult to recommend. This was our first and likely our last visit. I know that it's hard to find good meat in Poland, but still 80$ for a steak? I have no words. It wasn't even that good. By the way, the steak came with just the steak and 3 small potatoes smashed with a fork with parmesan on top, great 😃 not up to the standards of a Michel recommandation. 300$ for 3 people without drinks, just too much , you can go to a much nicer place I would say
Good looking, elegant restaurant with tasty food and good drinks. A bit on the expensive side, but well above average in terms of what you get for your money. Worth checking out.
This restaurant is one of the biggest fine dining disappointments for me in a long time. Interior and ambience - indeed fantastic. Well thought out design and attention to detail. And here ends the positive sides of it.. Service - far from hospitable, waiter literally reads the whole menu without giving any pairing suggestions or asking for the preferences to really guide you toward quality dining experience… I can read on my own too… it was useless to listen to a boring “poem” without any value. Then comes the food - steak comes cold, I mean cold cold. They dont even change the cutlery - you use salad knife for eating steak. Which is overpriced, overcooked, cold and flavorless especially for the price tag you pay.. flavors are non-existing and overall dining experience was very substandard. All in all - extremely overpriced for wayt it offers. Inhospitable with poor service and food far from fine. P.S. having scallops in menu if you dont cook it right and drizzling truffles on everything does not make the dining high end.
