Excellent restaurant. The queue was a bit long but it was so worth the wait. The food is incredible! One of the best meals I’ve ever had. The quantities were so generous, and the quality of the ingredients was amazing. We also ordered desserts that we loved so much. The service too was great as the waiters were so nice and welcoming. The atmosphere is so fun and the decor is original. Truly can’t recommend this place enough and I only wish I’d tried it earlier in my trip so I could go back!
This place was AMAZING! Magda was an excellent waitress, and gave great recommendations. We enjoyed the meal and the scenery tremendously! High recommend if you are in Gdansk, stop here for brunch or dinner. You won’t regret it.
The best restaurant I've ever been to. This is not just about the food but also about the atmosphere and the staff. We spent 4 nights in Gdansk and had dinner here 3 times. We also tried breakfast at the Chmielna location.
A stylish and popular restaurant offering a blend of Polish and Italian cuisine. Our server was also really nice and knowledgeable, which made our dinning experience even better. The menu features a variety of dishes, including handmade pastas, duck, ribs, and pizzas, catering to diverse tastes. Breakfast options are also available, with generous portions and a selection of beverages. The restaurant’s ambiance is warm and inviting, making it suitable for romantic dinners, family gatherings, or casual outings. While the food quality and atmosphere receive high praise, it’s worth noting that the restaurant can get quite busy, especially during peak hours. Some patrons have reported longer wait times and occasional service delays. To ensure a pleasant experience, consider making a reservation or visiting during off-peak times. Overall, Chleb i Wino offers a delightful dining experience with its flavorful dishes and picturesque location. It’s a recommended spot for those seeking a memorable meal in Gdańsk, and open late even on Sundays.
We stopped by for breakfast and tried the chef’s omelet and the eggs Benedict – both were amazing. The omelet was perfectly balanced with fresh ingredients, and the eggs Benedict had a silky hollandaise with eggs cooked just right. Cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. Highly recommended
