Loved having the dishes plated up in front of me and explained throughly by all the different chefs Every dish was tasty 👌with the menu stating with portuguese/medeteranian food, involving some african flavours and finishing with a Thai influence. Wine pairing was outstanding, we tried 9 different portuguese wines and they were all delicious and complimented all the dishes perfectly. The sommelier is clearly a wizard Fav dishes were the foie gras, the Tuna and the wagyu “pad thai” but all the dishes were great. Lovely attention to detail from all sides and we felt very welcome and looked after
intimate kitchen, where you sit at the balcony and get the best view of the kitchen while also being served by the staff. flavourful and bold, some of the dishes are really a hit on the stomach, while some of them follows the dance. very nice experience. visited on 09/24
Intimate setting in an open kitchen. The team was fabulous and they explain every single ingredient as they prepare the dishes in front of you. The produce is very fresh, seasonal and local which is always great. There was nothing mind-blowing or super innovative as in other Michelin restaurants we've been to, and I usually prefer creativity over fancy ingredients in this kind of restaurant. Yes, caviar is delicious, but a bit overdone now. Sometimes they'd mention an ingredient that I could not really taste in the dish (like coriander or ginger). The pumpkin dessert was creative and delicious! I still give it 5 stars because the experience was great overall, with very attentive service, a spotless kitchen and a high degree of professionalism.
This is by far one of my favorite Michelin restaurants I've ever been too. While it is certainly fine dining, it has a more relaxed feel and gives you the opportunity to interact with many of the chefs themselves since they play each course in front of you. As expected, the service is impeccable as is the flavors of each course. While we enjoyed everything, the desserts particularly stood out. Hard to put the whole experience into this one review but an absolute must try!
Already went to a few Michelin star restaurants and this is one of the best. 12 courses with wine -was excellent. One comment - if you pay over 300euro for dinner and wine, charging 4 euro for water does not seem required. Another small issue - starting cleaning while all guests are still in - not good and makes a lot of noise.
