We were in Lisbon for 3 days and had dinner and lunch in places all having good Google reviews. Most of them were ok, just not great. This place located in street corner was the best meal we had in Lisbon. The grilled sea brass and the octopus dishes were the real deal. Perfectly seasoned, cooked and presented. Honestly that was a highlight of our Lisbon visit.

We ordered an octopus and a fish. The octopus was amazing, and the fish was really tasty too. It would be even better if they cleaned the fish before serving. The seating area is quite small, so it might be a bit hard to find a table.

The place offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Fado performances take place inside, while outside seating lets you enjoy the fresh air and the charm of a narrow Lisbon street. We chose to sit outside and had soup and mixed seafood rice—everything was delicious and very filling. It seemed like they infused the rice with shrimp flavor by cooking them together, though the shrimp ended up a bit overcooked for my taste—that was the only downside. After 8 pm, we asked to move inside to enjoy the Fado (which starts around 7:30 pm), and the staff kindly helped us. The performance was absolutely worth experiencing and added something unique to the evening. Overall, this was one of our favorite dinner spots in Lisbon.

Found this restaurant on google maps because we canceled last minute on our initial restaurant reservation. It turned out to be a much better option, the restaurant is small but decent. We had octopus lagereiro style and grilled chicken. The only octopus that is not chewy, apparently Portuguese has special technique to cook their seafood.

Best meal we had in Lisbon! We got the grilled octopus, prawn risotto, fish of the day (sea bream), and biscuit dessert. Wish I had a picture for everything. A week later, my friends and I are still talking about this meal amongst ourselves! All the food was wonderfully seasoned and fresh. Especially the grilled octopus — done to perfection. We will never forget about this amazing experience.
