A great place for brunch! On the downside, the dining room is quite small and can be very noisy! But the service is quite fast! And above all, the food is good! I must admit I was surprised by the quality of the burger I chose for this type of restaurant. Finally, the quality - quantity - price ratio is really superb! So if a little noise doesn't bother you, go for it!
This is the BEST brekkie/brunch spot in all of Porto, arguably in all of Portugal. From the delicious food, to the highly professional and joyful staff, to the very nature and vibe of the place, it is all absolutely fantastic. The place is locally owned and run and the staff make sure you feel like you're part of the family when you're there. Great hospitality. If I'm ever in Porto again, this is the first meal I'll start with. (For reference, I had the Chicken Sanga and my girlfriend had the French Toast)
CA downtown: We were staying in the city and searched for a breakfast spot not too far from us. One with good reviews, not too far with a good menu. We went for CA downtown. Wow! They don’t serve just breakfast. They serve Art! Perfection on a plate! The food was phenomenal! The vibe, the ambiance, the democrat, everything was perfect. They were extremely busy, and I totally understand why. The menu is great, the service is fantastic and the food, well, it was presented so beautifully I didn’t want to eat it! Thank you for a luscious breakfast, a great experience and a warm welcome. 💯, recommend and 💯 worth it. Thank you💫
We were looking for a good place to eat breakfast and, after searching online, we found this restaurant with a very high rating. Overall, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was truly great — very pleasant and welcoming. We both ordered eggs benedict, one with salmon and the other with bacon. The salmon is house-made, which was a nice touch and tasted quite good. However, while the food was good, it didn’t fully meet our expectations considering the high reviews. The experience could have been much better — for example, if the bread had been toasted and the eggs had been served hotter (they were actually a bit cold), it would have made a big difference. In short, it's a nice place with great service and ambiance, but there is definitely room to improve the dishes so that they match the level of everything else.
The food is delicious with a great presentation. The food had a good volume with a reasonable price as well. The staff was very hospitable, nice, and friendly. The interior was very comforting and cozy. The toilets are very clean. Highly recommended!
