Gorgeous dining experience from two wonderful people. Lovely terrace space outside with blossoms, fabulous Japanese food and rice balls, homemade ginger ale and generally great energy. Highly recommend and we will be coming back! It’s at the back of a lovely curioso store with many other beautiful things to look at! NB: there is no takeaway!
My friend and I went here and we were stunned by how nice it was. The owners are super nice and knowledgeable about the food and the tea, the food is really really good. The dessert was less sweet but I like it that way (but people who are not used to it might not find it as tasty) and everything was freshly made. The prices are maybe a bit more expensive then elsewhere but the quality of everything definitely makes it worth it. I can only recommend coming here!!!!
The restaurant is at the back of a store and it’s is run by a lovely couple. The woman is Japanse and makes the onigiri. Many ingredients or maybe every ingredient is out of the area instead from al over the world. Almost everything is also made in house. I loved the selfmade nato and pickled plum. This place is definitely worth your money and time!
Opposite of fast food, this is an intentional eatery tucked in the back of a retail shop. It was winter so we opted for the indoor communal table. A few people were in the garden patio regardless of temperature. The host was detailed and attentive. The chalkboard had the specials of the day. The turnip soup was fantastic. We had two rice balls, the cauliflower dish, two natural Wines, and the lemon cake with matcha desert. Could pay with card. There was a single toilet next to the kitchen.
Delicious food and great service. You can tell there is a lot of attention to detail, the ingredients used and the preparation. Also very nice to be able to enjoy Japanese food beyond what is typically served in the West. The setting is tranquil and calm.
