It’s a small cafe that also serves a more American style brunch. I thought that my pastrami toast was a bit salty but everything else was great. I especially liked the smoothie. It was pretty popular when we went so prepare to wait!
So I do a lot of reviews…I think I’m up around 300 or so. I don’t give out 5’s very easily…because there just aren’t many experiences or places that are just perfect. This place is one of them! We had to wait a bit but it was soon lost in the way we were treated by our host. And the food…my God the food! One of the best breakfasts of my life. Every bite, every sip, every moment…was perfection! Absolutely delicious in every way!
I have a lot of good things to say about this place. Firstly, the staff were very friendly, which made the experience even better. Secondly, the price-to-portion ratio was excellent - my meal was really satisfying, especially compared to many other brunch places we’ve visited in Porto. I ordered the veggie toast, which was quite fulfilling. I just wish it had included something fresh like cherry tomatoes - that would have really elevated the dish (it felt kinda dry). The other menu (all the brunch #2) we tried had a similar portion size but included a greater variety of ingredients, plus yogurt and coffee. The price was about double, but considering what was included, I still think it was a good deal. The interior of the café is nice, but it took a while for tables inside to free up, so we ended up sitting outside. The downside to that was the outdoor tables had a bit of an unpleasant smell, and it was quite loud that day due to nearby construction work. Despite those minor issues, what we tried was tasty and mostly satisfying. both dishes were solid. With just a touch more freshness, it would have been perfect. In short: very fulfilling meals, great value for money, and definitely one of the nicest spots in the area for brunch in this area of Porto.
Amazing brunches, our favourite place for breakfast in Porto. Be mindful that if you come after 10am, you may need to wait for around 15 minutes to be seated. The food is delicious, with the perfect balance of tastes, and healthy at the same time. The staff is super friendly ant attentive to the details. Went there 2 times and will do again.
Sensational. Thoughtful menu with lots of balancing flavours. Pastrami toast and chicken salad both excellent. Very generous portions too. For the price youre not getting better quality.
