A cozy place with a soft Fado music playing in the background adding an authentic touch to the atmosphere — very clean restaurant with a welcoming and attentive waiter. Everything we had was fresh, from the crisp salad and juicy tomatoes to the perfectly cooked fish. The olive oil was exceptional. The shrimp pasta was cooked al dente and packed with flavor, and the grilled sardines were the best I’ve had in Lisbon. We’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu and will gladly recommend it to friends visiting the city.
One of the most memorable meals I’ve had in Lisbon. They have an intimate setting, incredibly friendly staff, and food that tasted like it was made with love. It reminded me of my mom’s cooking. A must-visit if you’re looking for a delicious, home-cooked experience. I’ll be returning every time I visit Lisbon.
This is a bad experience we had on our second day in Lisbon. We came here for lunch based on the goggle review. We ordered a claim dish, and many clams were having unopened shells. We told the waiter as we thought they were not fully cooked. Then the waiter told us those were dead and not good to eat. He said the class came in a bag and they would not tell what are good ones, so basically just told us to accept the fact that almost half of the dish was inedible. We are stunned. Does that mean if the restaurant happen to buy some rotten ingredients and the chef should still cook them and pass the loss and cost to the guests? Is this how the way seafood is handled to guests in all restaurants here?
Was looking for good Portuguese seafood but was left disappointed by Russo’s. I ordered shrimp pasta which overly tasted of garlic and the shrimp was not fresh. Caution for solo travellers, they not extend the 30% off for having reservations to solo travellers.
The food here is seriously underrated. Best of all they had a kid friendly menu. I walked into three restaurants before landing this one and they did not have a kid friendly menu for my picky eater who ate two meals there! The kids fish fingers and spaghetti marinara were delicious! I was so happy to have spent my last night at this restaurant. We met the owner and she was great! We even met her son which was a plus for my little guy. Excellent experience!
