This is the real Portugal. Delicious, spicy and bright. I would highly recommend the octopus salad, pork ears salad, smashed olives, cheese place with jam It cost every euro and you will remember every bite 🫦 Rose wine suits well
PRO'S: A Bolina restaurant is an exceptional Porto neighborhood place. Locally owned, serving 100% local food & wines they love and want to share. The riverside location overlooking 2 bridges at sunset attracted our attention and the food was even better. CON'S: Absolutely none. Note: Walk or take a taxi, no parking. SUMMARY: The A Bolina view, the food and wine are all worth a visit
Beautiful spot right on the river with amazing friendly service. We loved getting to try a little of everything with the small plates, and the drinks menu was extensive as well. It was a treat to watch the sunset as we sat outside having dinner. A highlight of our visit to Porto!
Lovely little restaurant, fantastic food, great location but what really made it special was the staff! All of the staff were so knowledgeable and helpful - some of the best service we have ever received. The only thing to bare in mind is to bring cash for tips if paying by card as we only had €1 in cash and would have like to have tipped a lot more!
Every dish had its own unique flavor and character, absolutely delicious. The dishes are made to share and four is plenty for two people. The service was warm, attentive, and top notch. Just a heads up: if you don’t arrive right at opening at 5pm, be sure to make a reservation as it fills up fast.
