As Bifanas do Afonso

Great meal or snack mid day. They were super fast, kind with tourists and we enjoyed that we were able to have a good Portuguese food on the go. Took 10 minutes from entering the line to getting our bifanas (the line had about 15 people in it), as there’s a small courtyard you can sit in, although it can be busy

While researching I came across this place and it certainly did not disappoint. We weren’t extremely hungry so we just ordered one Bifana and one chocolate mousse. Around 5 pm was when we went and there was a very small line. I’d recommend going in between meal times to take advantage of the shorter wait times. It completely lived up to my expectations, and I would definitely return. The bifana itself had perfect chewy bread and with the meat it was heaven. The chocolate mousse was also delicious, and it was super light but not too sweet. I would definitely return!

A really good sandwich shop offering a classic Portuguese dish at a really cheap price. This is a great spot for a quick meal that is filled with and delicious. If you are looking to experience true Portuguese cuisine you cannot miss this.

Following the review from some of the YouTubers and we gave it a tried. For $3, I can say this can be one of the best, reasonable price for lunch. Nothing special about the pork meat but the bun and the sauce was 🤤 delicious. This is a place you should visit if you don't want to spend too much for lunch and have more time to explore the area around. Thank you

We visited this place twice as we did not get to purchase the Bifana on our first visit due to it being sold out. We order the classic Bifana for 3€ and it was really flavoured and juicy. Generous portion of pork meat. Add chili oil and mustard for more flavours! Pork taste is quite strong so not everyone might like that but we enjoyed it. We ate outside the shop where there were standing tables provided but there were quite a bit of birds. Nevertheless great place!
