The Folks Blue Street - Specialty Coffee, Breakfast & Brunch

So the food and coffees are incredible! We have come twice to different folks cafes and have really enjoyed it. Whilst the food and the service stand out, the ambience could be improved. The seats and interiors are stained and though we understand that with busy service it’s not a priority to take care of it, the other folks cafes looked much more taken care of. Overall definitely a place we will come back to.

Went to The Folls for breakfast and ordered the chicken egg sandwich and a cappuccino. I really loved the sandwich – it came with plenty of fresh veggies and quail eggs, which made it both tasty and satisfying. The cappuccino was also smooth and well-balanced. A nice spot for a simple but good breakfast.

The matcha was just okay — not really worth it in my opinion, I’ve had better. The food was decent for breakfast. Nothing particularly special, but if you’re in the mood for what’s on the menu, it should be fine. Service was a bit slow and overall just okay — nothing to complain about, but also nothing that stood out.

Perfect location in Alfama! The street patio was very relaxing and service was attentive. We had the coffee flight (3 drinks), lavender lemonade, raspberry pancakes and the Turkish eggs. Everything was delicious. One note on Turkish eggs - you should really like eating chili oil on yogurt if you order it.

I stopped by this cafe for breakfast and was genuinely impressed. I had the scrambled eggs, which were perfectly cooked soft, creamy, and full of flavor. What really stood out was the lightly pickled veg served on the side. It added just the right amount of tang and freshness to balance the richness of the eggs. Everything was well thought-out and beautifully executed. The vibe was relaxed, the service friendly, and the coffee (as expected from a specialty spot) was excellent. A great place to start the day, I’ll definitely be back!
