I was looking for a restaurant with seafood, but I found really nice and special place. The personal was very kindly and responsive. The waitress help me in my choice for a really good white wine and for the starters. The main dishes was amazing. In the and they bring me a surprise for my birthday and it was really nice! Thank you for the perfect evening!
We went here for dinner during our brief trip to Porto, encouraged by reviews on the Fork, and with a reservation through the app and really enjoyed our meal. Food: we ordered the goat dish (for 2) recommended by our fantastic server, Herminia, and really enjoyed how crisp on top and soft, melting off the bones, the meat was. The short grained rice that came with it and the potatoes + greens were very well done. We ordered a bottle of red (also recommended by our server) which went great with our meal. And we finished with the coconut mousse like dessert (again recommended by our server!) and liked it v much too. Service: Herminia was super. The chef Adriano came over to our table and chatted with us (& other tables too) which added a different personal feel to the meal. Atmosphere: Everything was good, except that the space felt very humid and warm (upstairs) until they probably adjusted the air-conditioning a little later. Thanks again for a solid dinner experience!
I ordered top two dishes on the meat menu, the chicken with rice and veal with chestnuts. Both of them were so salty, and me and my mom could not finish either of them. The chicken was overcooked and too hard. The veal had too much of burnt parts. The only thing we enjoyed was the bread.
One of the most memorable meals I had in Porto. The cabrito al horno (roast kid) was absolutely delicious — tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It’s a dish that truly captures the essence of traditional Portuguese cuisine, elevated with care and precision. We also appreciated the wine service — they brought out a beautiful decanter that made the experience feel even more special. Elegant setting, warm atmosphere, and thoughtful details that make a real difference. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place that honors tradition with a modern touch.
We had a great experience at this restaurant. First of all, the staff is very professional and friendly, especially David. Even though we were not their usual audience (youngsters), we were treated with respect. For starter we chose the Bird’s nest and the Salad which were both very tasty. The main dishes were the highlight with the octopus and arouquesa PDO. The prices are also reasonable for the quality of the food. I do recommend to make a reservation.
