No it’s not worth it . Place is busy yes but too noisy. They do charge you for the cheese olives bread and etc. Code fish is not tasty at all. Cheese was nicer.
Simple, familiar and chaotic setup. You can truly experience the flavors of Portugal without being too formal. Enjoy listening to the waiters sing while you find your next destination. Highly recommended.
We went on a Saturday late lunch. Got lucky as it was just a 10 mins wait for us (we found out later that there’s usually a long wait as the place is very small). We followed the recommendation of one of the regulars in the line and ordered pork ribs. It was amazing - it was lightly seasoned and perfectly grilled, with lots of flavors from the meat itself. Five stars for the dish. Big portion too (picture was one of the larger pieces, not of the complete dish). Their bread and wines were delicious too. On the other hand I also ordered cod fish and did not like it. Would prefer meat hands down at this place, but that may just be my personal preference. Service was a bit slow as it was crowded, but very warm. Would come again.
Great spot for a lunch. We waited approx 20mins for a space and was worth it. We had a huge meal with jug of wine and deserts for €41… unbelievable value and truly authentic experience.
The food was incredibly delicious and of high quality. The appetizers were excellent, and the staff was very nice.
