The restaurant entrance is tucked away inside a block, so it’s a little bit hard to find. But the food is absolutely authentic and delicious. My wife and I spent a lovely lunch time here. This is in my opinion one of the best Cantonese food I’ve had in Portugal. If any friends visit Lisbon and want Chinese, I’ll definitely recommend this place.
If you want to have a taste of traditional chinese food; must come to Dragon Inn. I love their Singapore Fried Noodles and the Hak Ka Pork. Super good and I claimed they are the best in town. You must also try their home made ice cream. Surprisingly Good and I LOVE IT. The fried dough dessert....please....you will fall in love with it. Thanks Caroline. You are the best !!
A Taste of Home in Lisbon: Dragon Inn – Where Comfort Food Meets Convenience During my five-day trip to Lisbon, I spent the first three days indulging in the fantastic flavors of Portuguese cuisine. By the fourth day, however, I began to crave the familiar and comforting taste of Asian food. That’s when I stumbled upon Dragon Inn, a Cantonese restaurant conveniently located just 100 meters from LX Factory, one of Lisbon’s most popular tourist attractions. A quick walk brought me to a warm and inviting culinary haven that became one of the highlights of my trip. Must-Try Dish: Minced Beef Rice One look at the menu and I knew I had to order the classic Minced Beef Rice. When the dish arrived, the aroma of perfectly cooked rice and savory beef filled the air, instantly making me feel at home. Here’s what made the Minced Beef Rice unforgettable: Tender and Juicy Beef: The minced beef was cooked to perfection—soft, flavorful, and bursting with natural juices. Rich and Savory Sauce: The beef was coated in a special sauce that balanced saltiness with a hint of sweetness, pairing seamlessly with the steaming white rice. Perfectly Cooked Egg: Topping the dish was a sunny-side-up egg, its golden yolk just waiting to be broken. When mixed with the beef and rice, it added an extra layer of creaminess and richness to the dish. This simple yet comforting dish transported me back to the flavors of home, making it an absolute must-try for anyone craving authentic Asian comfort food. Other Delicious Dishes Worth Trying While the Minced Beef Rice was a highlight, Dragon Inn offers a variety of other mouthwatering Cantonese dishes: Typhoon Shelter Style Prawns: Crispy garlic crumbs coat tender, juicy prawns in this fragrant and flavorful dish. Watercress Soup: A light, nourishing soup with a naturally sweet broth, perfect for warming the soul. Honey-Glazed Char Siu: Tender, caramelized barbecue pork that melts in your mouth, balancing sweetness and smokiness beautifully. Convenient Location and Cozy Atmosphere Dragon Inn is ideally situated near LX Factory, making it a perfect dining option after exploring this vibrant cultural hub filled with design shops, galleries, and markets. The restaurant is just a short 100-meter walk away, making it easily accessible for both tourists and locals. Inside, Dragon Inn offers a clean, welcoming, and cozy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring a comfortable dining experience from start to finish. Whether you’re dining solo, with family, or with friends, you’ll feel right at home here. In Summary: If you’re exploring Lisbon and looking for a change of pace from Portuguese cuisine, Dragon Inn is the place to go. Their Minced Beef Rice delivers authentic Asian flavors with a comforting, home-cooked feel. Combined with its convenient location just steps from LX Factory, this restaurant is a hidden gem that brings a taste of home to your travels. Don’t miss out on this delicious surprise during your Lisbon adventure!
A hidden gem in Lisbon. Superb Cantonese food, and the only authentic Cantonese restaurant in Portugal! A must go! As a native HKer, who has lived in Lisbon for several years, I have been trying to find a restaurant that served traditional Cantonese dishes, and I finally found the spot for all my HK cravings. From the dim sum, to char siu (bbq pork), to signature Canton dishes, and more, this is the place to be! +1 point for having HK style lemon tea and milk tea!! Service is also top - servers are kind, attentive and friendly! I’ve been here twice in the last two weeks and I can’t wait to come back for more!
Food are very good except the crispy pork belly..would be better if there crispy skin not sticking to the teeth. They are very busy on Sunday, we come in very early so luckily we don't need to wait and able to sit indoor. The beef curry is really good spice, perfect with the fried rice.
