Balta Brunch

This place is right in front of where I was staying, and I ended up eating here twice during my five-day trip. The owner and staff were all so kind, and the space is cosy and well-kept. The Balta toast and avocado toast were absolutely amazing, and the bacon & eggs set with scrambled eggs was also a great choice. Enjoy a relaxing breakfast on the breezy hillside terrace — it’s the perfect way to start your day in Porto.

Perfect brunch menu. Went 2 days in a row we loved it so much. Avocado toast, Greek yogurt fruit bowl, Pastel de Nata, Pancakes! All delicious. On a quiet street. Ate outside 1st day and inside the next. English menu and staff spoke English and were great.

Great food, good service, pleasant atmosphere. Fair prices. We had the avocado toast, ham and cheese and pancakes. The pancakes were adorned with fresh fruit and jam. Everything was delicious.

Great place and experience in the local cafe. In their offer beside drinks they have brunch. We choose this small cafe as a break on our way while exploring Porto. Stuff are very kind and helpful with a choice. Definitely this place have local charm of a place, I will come here again.

Highly recommend coming here. Very friendly staff with very tasty food! Bagels, toasted bread, bowls, pancakes,... Some vegan options, also very friendly if you ask for special wishes. Plant based milk available. We were here twice and enjoyed all the food a lot 😊
