A traditional μεζεδοπωλείο in the heart of the non-touristy part of Rhodes. Loved the atmosphere and soundscape. The menu has many classics, served in large portions at convenient prices. All food freshly cooked and delicious.
Really great spot to get authentic good in a beautiful open air space. It's a small plates (meze) place, so perfect to try a lot of different dishes between a group of people! We went with a group of two only and ordered way too much food, we tried something from each section which was all great, but we should have focused the seafood and meat sections because they were phenomenal. Wine is plentiful, service was very attentive and well timed, and it was a lovely and beautiful place to have dinner.
This is a great little neighbourhood restaurant. We came here for a late lunch around 3pm and it was one of the best meals we've had in Greece. We shared everything and had 4 adults and 2 children and walked out full and happy. . We ordered the taramasalata with bread, fried potatoes (hand cut chips), anchovies, meatballs, cheese balls, beetroot salad, fried calamari and fried chicken. Everything was delicious and perfect for sharing. The lady working there was friendly and the food came out in good time. The only negative thing to mention was that the roof in the outdoor (but under cover) area was leaking due to the rain, so you couldn't sit at some tables. But that's not a huge problem on most days in Rhodos.
This place has insanely good food! Hands down the best Greek restaurant I've ever been to. We ate here fours nights out of five, and the only regret was that we missed it on one evening. You will not find the typical gyros pita or souvlaki here, but rather simple authentic food that simply blows your mind and taste buds away.
Really enjoyed our meal here. Super friendly chef and staff made it extra memorable. The pita was so delicious it's hard not to think about it. The herb pie was really nice too. Try it, and say hi to the resident kitty cat.
