Guide Commentary

If you’re chasing a spot in Bucharest that nails the Instagram game, POT.stories is your go-to. The vibe here is effortlessly cool—a mix of rustic coastal charm with tons of greenery, woven textures, and natural materials that make every corner a perfect backdrop for your feed. Their dishes are a visual treat, especially the octopus served with saffron risotto, which snaps beautifully with its charred, tender finish. The menu blends Mediterranean influences with innovative touches, like their vibrant POT salad loaded with shrimp, avocado, and quinoa, offering both bold flavors and colorful plating. Add in stellar cocktails crafted with flair and attentive staff who keep things smooth, and you’ve got a buzz-worthy hotspot that’s all over social feeds right now. Just a heads-up: it’s a lively place, so bring your crew and capture the energy! Reservations are smart on busy nights at Calea Floreasca[1][2][4][5].

It’s always a pleasure to come back over and over again to this place. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Bucharest and always keeps the standard high. Nice and friendly staff, very good service, best interior design, tasty food… you got to try the octopus 12/10.

Amazing design and great atmosphere. The service is attentive and wonderful. The starters were excellent but the mains a little less so.

Beautiful interior with modern and artsy vibe, cozy minimalist aesthetics. It has a feel of a rustic coastal retreat, its mix of greenery and texture evoking a beach-house atmosphere, while still feeling grounded in urban elegance. They serve delicious Mediterranean‑inspired dishes in a fresh, creative, and shareable style.

Probably the best restaurant we’ve eaten in Bucharest and we’ve tried I think all top rated places here. I hardly ever rate restaurants but this one truly deserves a great rating. We’ve had a couple dining experience last night, no reservation, but the hostess was kind and helpful. Although the menu is not truly innovative, the dishes were delicious and cooked to perfection. Well balanced menu and great variety of wines. The plating was amazing, the service was impeccable. The staff here is top notch! The restaurant design is outstanding, the only minus being the fact that due to its impressive height and space it can get a bit noisy. Truly comparable to top restaurants in Madrid, London, Paris etc. Price/ Value - excellent! Highly recommend!

I visited the place several times, with a group from work or friends. I would say it’s a better fit for groups as it’s quite loud because of other groups and music, so it’s not so enjoyable when coming with a friend for a nice talk during dinner. Food is good, some plates excellent, some not the best taste ( pasta served cold, duck not so tender, etc). The staff is friendly and polite, the decor is really nice, they have a place for waiting until you will be seated and you are not rush to finish if the reserved time expired - they would find a way to give you the time you need to enjoy your food/drinks/company. I would say it’s too expensive for some dishes, especially when those are not the best quality or served cold ( 170 EUR for two persons food and one bottle of local wine). Overall we liked the place, might return, however would prefer this option for occasions with a larger group.
