Beautiful hidden gem. Well worth venturing off the tourist path to this little restaurant. The staff were warm and welcoming, and there was a pianist playing some beautiful music. I had the beyond meat burger and my husband the Tomahawk pork steak and we shared the cheesecake. The food was divine. We had a surprise visit at the end of our meal from Boris the resident cat who’s super friendly.
An outstanding dining experience! The wagyu A5 steak was one of the best I’ve ever had — tender, rich, and perfectly prepared. The wagyu pasta was also incredible. Our waiter, Alin, was exceptionally kind and knowledgeable, helping us choose the perfect wine pairing. The quality of both the food and the service exceeded our expectations. We will definitely come back!
This restaurant in the old part of town is a real gem. The location is just great, surrounded by all these atmospheric old buildings and streets. They have a lovely summer terrace with small tables. And when it gets dark, they light so many candles that the whole place looks magical. Another cool detail is the music playing from a vinyl record player, which adds a special vibe. We read so many good reviews that we decided to experiment and try the Wagyu. To be honest, it turned out to be a bit much for us. We prefer other types of meat because the Wagyu was very fatty and just melted in your mouth. But if you're a connoisseur, you'll definitely be delighted. The presentation was very nice, and the side dishes—various types of potatoes and delicious salads—were perfect. The truffle mashed potatoes are especially worth mentioning—they had a simply unreal flavor! The portions here are very generous, so be prepared for that. We also tried the tasty salmon bruschettas, which we highly recommend as an appetizer. We also tried all the beers from the menu. Although the price for a 330ml bottle was high, the taste justified the cost—the beer was really good. Overall, it's a great place for a special evening where you can enjoy the atmosphere and delicious food.
The restaurant features a charming, old-fashioned dining design that adds a touch of nostalgia to the experience. However, it’s the food that truly steals the show — every dish we tried was nothing short of phenomenal, bursting with flavor and crafted to perfection. Our group of eight ordered a variety of dishes, and each one offered a distinct taste and beautifully presented aesthetics. It was clear that attention to detail and creativity were a priority in every plate. By the end of the meal, we were completely satisfied — full, content, and smiling. To top it off, the service was outstanding: attentive, warm, and professional throughout our visit. We genuinely loved everything about this place and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
Food was 10/10. It was made with perfection, what more is there to say. Their steaks are mouthwatering, even the salads rocked our world. Our trip to Romania were met by hardships because of the heatwave, but the great memories made it so much worth it, and this restaurant is no exception. The staff is very friendly, and there is cats! I think 5 or 6, and they are so cute. Even though there is cats in the restaurant, it's still very clean, and it just adds character to this lovely little restaurant. Tell Boris I said hi ❤️
