A must if you're looking for great food, local wine, a charismatic owner and a roumanian chef. Lovely crossing between French and Romanian cuisine
Noeme is a refined yet inviting restaurant nestled in a beautifully restored villa in Bucharest’s historic Jewish quarter. Blending eclectic décor (exquisite details) with seasonal, ingredient-driven cuisine, it offers a unique “casual fine dining” experience rooted in both Romanian and French influences, as explained by the owner, who greeted us warmly and explained the menu and served us. The Croquettes with “urdă” cheese and vegetables were mindblowing, the Octopus slowly braised in their secret stock, then grilled was exactly as it should be, the Oven-roasted trout fillet was full of flavour, the Deconstructed cheesecake was the creamiest thing I have ever tried and the Reinterpreted “colivă” was so inventive! The cheesecake was so The warm, attentive service and intimate atmosphere—enhanced by jazz and soul music—make it an ideal spot for special evenings. In my case, Noeme delivered a memorable culinary experience that balanced artistry and comfort. I loved it!! Intimacy and food art at its finest!
at the beginning you are presented with the menu. the food is made by them, you have a few options, but the food is good. The pâté from the starter is very good, the duck is delicious, the service is good. the dessert is reinterpreted. I liked it but not that much
Tl;Dr I'm not really used to the dining experience, but this was eye opening and as precise. It was incredibly intelligent combinations, presentation and a wonderful experience. We came as a group. Stephan welcomed us on, and spoke a bit about the restaurant and the concept behind it. Later on we received a short introduction to the culinary concept by chef Carmen. Stephane was a stupendously good host, easily maneuvering between pouring wine, explaining about the food and sharing stories, all between 18 people. I honestly hope to visit again with the next menu presented ❤️❤️❤️❤️
We had an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious and the wine recommendation incredible as well! Stephane was really attentive and fun. He took the time to talk to us. Would definitely recommend if you want to treat yourself!
