The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The food was excellent, with each dish offering a unique experience. We ordered sangrias for our drinks, and they were well-prepared. Overall, this place is a gem in Barcelona, featuring delicious food and friendly staff. I would definitely come back!

This was hands-down one of the best meals we had in Barcelona. Every single bite was delicious — thoughtful, flavorful, and just beautifully done. The wine? Incredible. And the dessert? Truly next level…like, I’m still thinking about it. What made it even more special was the people. Brenda is such a warm, gracious host — she made us feel so welcome and provided the best recommendations for food. And Nicolas clearly puts so much heart into what he does. You can feel the care in every detail. If you’re in Barcelona, go. Xera by Rao is something special. A fun touch: first-time guests are treated to a welcome cocktail at their cocktail bar just across the alley after dinner. It’s such a lovely way to continue the evening — the cocktails are well-crafted, delicious, and absolutely beautiful.

All around incredible experience. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious. And they also have a sister bar with some of the best cocktails Ive had. Would highly recommend!

The most amazing place we could be in Barcelona! A la cart dishes, fresh, most delicious, I could say exactly like in the TV series "Emily in Paris". The owner is the most amazing person, as well as the employees, the atmosphere is great , intim but so cozy ! Found the place randomly on Google maps and my husband said it was the most gorgeous choice that we could while visiting Barcelona! I totally recommend this restaurant. Give it a try , you won't regret it.

We visited Xera for the first time in May 2023. And we're back again today! I must say the quality of the food is superb and it's still amazing as ever. We had: - codfish: very fresh and tasty - duck: their signature. Not gamey at all and it's nicely balanced with a sweetness - tortilla de patata: sooo creamy and crispy at the same time! Bonus points for being served hot and not lukewarm. - aubergine: melted in our mouths. Love the contrast and the texture with the pumpkin sauce 💖 We came for my dad's birthday and they celebrated it for us. Amazing service all around. I'll be back for sure!
