A neighborhood with many restaurant options, this one stands out for a humble setting and quality sushi.🍣. Here I have tried Unagi that was generous in fish topping, excellent waggle beef, and a good selection of chef’s sashimi. The service is as you would find it in a simple Japanese restaurant, unpretentious and humble. Having travel to Japan several times, I would recommend this place for an authentic experience.

This could have been amazing. I lived in Japan for many years so was excited. However, I walked in and felt very unwelcome. I did order a drink and a couple of nigiri 🍣 but menu seemed lacking. I was told they can do anything but it wasn’t helpful. I had the tuna and eel, the eel was amazing, tuna average. Really it was the lack of service that let this place down and prices are not great. $20 euro or close to $35 AUD for a beer and two bits of sushi. Meh! I moved on pretty quick.

I had high hopes after searching all over Barcelona for a great sushi experience, but unfortunately, this place didn’t quite meet expectations. The rice in the rolls was noticeably off—it wasn’t cooked properly and the rolls fell apart at the slightest touch of chopsticks. While the sashimi was fresh, the cuts were thicker than what I’m used to at high-end sushi spots, which affected the overall texture and balance. That said, the service was excellent. Our server (wish I got her name) was warm, attentive, and definitely the highlight of the visit. Perhaps the lunch service differs from dinner, so it might be worth trying again in the evening.

For me the best japanese restaurant in Barcelona, probably one of Europe's finest. The service is excellent and the menu is top notch, not to mention that you see how the food is cooked… in front of you! It doesn't get better than this, you won't regret going 🤩🍜🥟🍚🇯🇵
