Bar Anita

We were searching that part of town for a seafood restaurant when we came across Bar Anita. We decided to give it a try. The fish of the day was perfect and juicy. Even though it had no seasoning we still lived it. We also tried chicken and shrimp and each of those dish’s were amazing and had great seasoning, juiciness and just tasted amazing. Overall I hope we can come back to this restaurant.

06/01/25 While walking down the street in hope of searching for a seafood restaurant, we came across Anita. We automatically felt calm from the atmosphere, and knew that this restaurant would amaze us. The fish of the day was a 5/5 stars, and was our favorite dish. One bite in, and our tastebuds instantly fell in love with how juicy it tasted. The fish did not have any seasoning, but it was so good that it would not need seasoning. We were savoring how soft, yet crispy the fish turned out. Putting all of this together, we can proudly say that the one dish was extremely appetizing and flavorful. The chicken with Catalan-style spinach was like nothing we’ve ever tasted before. The spinach purée was amazing - blending just the right amounts together to ensure that it would please our taste buds. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal during our last night in Barcelona and hopefully we can come back one day!

A great little place to enjoy Tapas in Barcelona. We ordered squid, fish, croquettes (mushroom and ham although the ham was a little too cheesy for us), steak, prawns and bread. It was all really tasty and enjoyable. We only needed 2 pp - that was absolutely enough food. The Sangria was delicious as well. Thank you for your hospitality

Bar Anita is one of those rare finds in Barcelona that perfectly combines history, atmosphere, and great food. The space itself feels authentic and full of character, with a relaxed vibe that makes you want to linger. Every dish and drink we tried was excellent, but what really made the experience outstanding was the service. Jaimar was the best hostess we could have asked for—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish, adding a personal touch. Her energy and care made us feel right at home, and it’s clear she takes real pride in making every guest’s experience memorable. If you’re in Barcelona, Bar Anita is a must. Come for the food and atmosphere, but stay for the service especially if you’re lucky enough to be looked after by Jaimar.
