The food was really good ! We really enjoyed the grilled octopus and also the tapas ! 😋 Shoutout to the kitchen it was really masarap ! ☺️ The service was okay, but the waiter was not really welcoming, we asked for regular water (tap water) and he pretended to not understand what we were asking for…he gave us bottle water instead. Other than that we enjoyed the food and the restaurant has a really warm and cozy decoration
La Taverna de la Ronda in Barcelona is an absolute gem. This charming tavern captures the authentic spirit of the city — warm, welcoming, and full of character. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a cozy atmosphere, delightful aromas, and a true sense of local tradition. The food is absolutely delicious, with every dish prepared with care and bursting with flavor. Whether you’re enjoying tapas with friends or sitting down for a full meal, La Taverna de la Ronda offers an unforgettable experience that blends taste, hospitality, and culture beautifully. And a big part of that experience is Danny Huaman — a truly exceptional waiter. Danny brings not just professionalism but a rare kindness and joy to his work. He makes every guest feel at home with his attentive service, genuine smile, and thoughtful recommendations. It’s clear that he loves what he does, and it shows in every interaction. People like Danny turn a simple dinner into a memorable evening. He is, without a doubt, one of the reasons this place stands out.
Had a great dinner at this place ☺️ Very friendly service, Fayber took good care of our table. Though the place was busy, he always checked us if we needed anything and serving was fast and food was pretty fresh! Ice cold San Miguel is extra point after long walking 🚶♀️ So we loved there 😍
We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at La Taberna de la Ronda. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout our meal. We started with a few appetizers, including the classic tomato bread and a fresh, vibrant salad. Both were simple yet perfectly executed — the kind of starters that set the tone for a great meal. The tomato bread was especially flavorful, with just the right balance of olive oil and ripe tomato. The highlight of our visit was, without a doubt, the paella. Rich, aromatic, and beautifully presented, it was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Every bite had that authentic, comforting taste that you hope for when ordering this iconic dish. La Taberna de la Ronda is a gem — combining excellent service with memorable food. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a true taste of Spanish hospitality and cuisine.
We stopped at La Taberna de la Ronda and it quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. The menu offered a range of classic dishes and everything we tried was excellent. We shared shrimp with garlic, clams, a board of charcuterie, and croquetas, all of which were fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. Portions were generous without feeling heavy, and the food arrived promptly. The atmosphere is casual yet lively, with a modern feel that makes it easy to relax while still feeling connected to the energy of the city. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which added to the experience. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and variety you get, making it a place that delivers real value. Overall, this is a must-visit spot if you want great food and a lively setting at a fair price.
