Despite great reviews, food quality wasn’t great. Fresh rolls filled 95% with noodles and few slices of cut up prawns. Pho lacked flavor but beef was tasty. Poorly presented and bad tasting fried banana with somehow nice ice cream.
We didn’t have high expectations—just needed a place for a late lunch since most spots had already closed. To our surprise, the food was delicious and generously portioned. The staff were very friendly, and the restaurant was spacious and clean.
Surprisingly exceeded my expectations. I got a pho hanoi with beef and it was a very soul healing bowl of noodle soup with a decent portion of beef. The soup tasted like it was boiled for hours. The mixed fried rice was delicious. The wok flavor was very apparent and you can taste each ingredient. We wish the shrimps were bigger or at least cut chunkier but nevertheless one of the best fried rices I’ve had. Come early for dinner or make a reservation.
Place is great! I saw the high reviews and was a bit skeptical, but I’d definitely recommend it. For someone who’s been to Hanoi, the food really tastes like it’s from there. I was surprised to find a place like this in Spain. I had the Bun Cha Hanoi and it was delicious — even better than I expected! I would definitely make a reservation, they will give you a bad seat if you don’t!
Pho Ha Noi in Barcelona is a super popular spot—and for good reason! The taste is really good and authentic, though I personally would love it even a bit richer. Still, definitely worth a visit if you’re into Vietnamese food!
