Excellent lunch - the Barbara in particular was very special, the mussels fantastic. The Spanish tortilla good, too. English speak staff, nice cava… value for money wise it’s a little more expensive than some, but it’s in a busy area and worth a visit.
One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! Black Fideuà was a show stopper and staff (Donatella especially) were absolute stars! Can’t wait to go back!! 😍
Typical Spanish restaurant with the flair of paella 🥘 and sangria. Excellent environment, really friendly quick service (everyone spoke English.) Great atmosphere. my starters were Coca bread, my wife had a spanish tortilla, perfect start to the main meal. I had seafood paella 🥘 just outstanding and my wife had mushroom paella washed down with a great spanish beer. Decent food at affordable prices. Five stars all round. we will definitely be back.
We had a great lunch at this beautiful cozy restaurant after visiting Guell park. The food was delicious but not only that… all of the staff there were so attentive, friendly and nice! will visit again!
If you’re looking for an excellent seafood experience in Barcelona, Comida de Olla is a must-visit. This cozy spot delivers fresh, flavorful dishes with an emphasis on traditional Catalan and Spanish seafood preparations. We started with razor clams and mussels, both impeccably fresh and simply prepared to let their natural flavors shine. The razor clams were perfectly grilled, tender, and slightly smoky, while the mussels came in a rich, aromatic broth that begged to be soaked up with bread. For mains, we opted for the black paella and a seafood fideuà. The black paella, infused with squid ink, was deeply flavorful, with just the right balance of umami and seafood richness. The texture of the rice was spot-on, with that coveted socarrat (crispy bottom layer) adding extra depth. The seafood fideuà, a noodle-based alternative to paella, was equally impressive—brimming with fresh seafood and carrying an intense, slightly briny flavor that highlighted the quality of the ingredients.
