Restaurante Bel Mondo

Didn’t know where to go after a long day walking around Madrid so we found this cute place not far from us. So Italian restaurant as the name sounds, they have a cute sitting area on the terrace but as we didn’t do prior reservation we stayed inside The service is nice the decor is trendy towards movies and Italian movies Food was good except one major disappointment the Tuna carpaccio, for the price you pay, I expected more tuna slices but we litterally could barely see them between the tomatoes. This is very bad and something to fix, I’ll remove a star for that To be fair, the eggplant topped with burrata, dried tomatoes and hazelnuts was delicious The two pizzas we had classic marguerita and the truffle one were good Also tried their zucchini flowers fried stuffed with Ricotta. It was good Overall not bad but they really need to improve the carpaccio plate

Certainly an exceptional experience that is quite unlike any other dining we had throughout Spain. The decor is unique with old Italian style antiques and photos. The music was great and the staff full of energy. 👌 Everyone seemed to be having a great time, the atmosphere was electric. My main concern was the menu was hard to read via an electronic only option. I was unsure what was an appetizers, main course, or desert and the electronic style menu didn't help much to explain things. We ended up taking a shot in the dark with the help of our waiter. The food was pretty good with strong flavor and very fresh. I did somehow end up getting a fried steak (I think), which I really didn't like much. I was hoping to get a regular broiled steak or filet. That said, the waiter did take it off our check because I hardly ate any of it. That was pretty cool that he noticed and made things right for us. I really liked the waiter, he made a huge effort with us despite a small language barrier so we really enjoyed the dinner. I would recommend if you are looking for a fancy lounge style dining experience with an old tome Italian look and feel.

Exceptional all round from the service, to the food, to the overall atmosphere. Emmanuel was excellent and continually made sure the experience went smoothly. I recommend for anyone visiting in Madrid. Make sure to book in advance to secure a table!

I’ve never had an experience quite like this,it was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere was wonderful, and the attention we received made us feel so welcome. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond, especially with my little niece, they were so kind and friendly to her. And the food… wow, it was simply delicious! If you’re in Madrid, this is an absolute must-try. I can’t recommend it enough, and I truly hope to come back many more times

Amazing experience at Bel Mondo in Madrid! The atmosphere is charming, and the food is authentic and delicious. Ana María provided excellent, friendly service that made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great Italian cuisine and warm hospitality. I’ll definitely be back!
