A great steakhouse offering excellent value for money and fast, efficient service. There are tables near the entrance, in the rear section, and one located downstairs. The wine and meat selection is extensive, and the portion sizes are generous. The fries are unremarkable, and vegetarian options are rather limited — this is clearly a place for meat lovers. The quality and flavor of the meat, however, are outstanding.
I had greater expectations given the good reviews. Great ambience, cool restaurant, but I was a bit disappointed, especially about the services which was closer to a tapas bar in my opinion. The main (grilled meat) arrived before the entree (grilled vegetable). Food was good but not exceptional. The grilled bread was bit burned and the meat was medium rather than medium-rare as asked. The restaura was quite big and full, so in my opinion they may need extra personnel to handle the whole thing properly
Dining at Raza Madrid was an exceptional culinary experience. From start to finish, the service—led by Julia Casado—was attentive, professional, and warm, creating the perfect atmosphere for an elevated evening. The meal was a true journey of flavors. We began with the Pan y Aperitivo and the Japanese Eggplant, both beautifully prepared and full of character. The Grilled Octopus (Pulpo a las Brasas) was a highlight—perfectly tender with a smoky finish that showed true mastery in execution. The Lomo Alto Ayrshire steak was outstanding, rich and flavorful, cooked with precision and showcasing the quality of the ingredients. The Warm Salad added a fresh and balanced note to the experience. To complement the food, we enjoyed a bottle of La Montesa wine, which paired wonderfully with the dishes, and Água Numem Premium to round out the evening. Every detail—from the quality of the ingredients to the pacing of the service—reflected a thoughtful approach to fine dining. I highly recommend Raza for anyone looking for a refined, modern Madrid dining experience. Booking a terrace table is well worth it, as the ambiance is elevated and inviting.
We came as a group of six and had a great experience at Raza Madrid. The restaurant handled the large group smoothly. Their steaks were amazing, the tartare was well seasoned, and the monkfish fresh and flavorful. The roasted bone marrow was a rich. Overall Great food in a relaxed setting. Highly recommend.
Visiting Madrid from the U.S. and celebrating my birthday. Wanted to have a good quality steak and they delivered and then some. Recommended by the hotel we were cautious at first wanting to be sure it wasn’t a tourist trap or the hotel concierge getting commission for recommending. They lived up to the expectation. Steak was delicious. Bone marrow and fries were the perfect compliment to the entree. We started with grilled veggies which were the only dish we thought needed more seasoning. The octopus and scallops were great. Service was very attentive and friendly.
