A wonderful meal with genuinely friendly staff. The dishes were creative and generously portioned—perfect if you come hungry. I especially enjoyed the whole tomato with peppers and the cheese croquette, both flavorful and satisfying. That said, many of the dishes are on the heavier side, so keep that in mind if you’re looking for something lighter. The location is a bit out of the way from central Madrid, which may be a drawback for some. Still, the warm service and high-quality food made it worth the trip.
A small and fantastic restaurant! We had dinner outside on their little patio, but the inside looked very nice as well with AC in it. We ordered the croccettas de jamon, the steak and the scallops. Everything was delicious. The wine was as well delicious. The restaurant offered us chocolate and a shot of amaro to end the dinner. Impeccable service.
Amazing food, wonderful friendly service. The artichoke with ham was delicious. The shrimp risotto tasty and the dessert brioche truly sublime.
We took our father here for his 89th birthday, on the strength of the other reviews on here. Honestly we weren’t disappointed. Albeit it’s a little out of the way, the most important elements - the food and the service - were sensational. We had 7 plates in total, all were excellent. I would particularly recommend the smoked shrimp salad, the mango and shrimp salad, the teriyaki short rib and the cheesecake.
Wonderful evening meal at the El Sueno de Carmen. Attentive staff, delicious and imaginative dishes. Authentic and genuine quality of the food. Definitely worth getting out of the touristy Madrid to check it out. I'd gladly come back.
