Delicious! Great service, iconic atmosphere. I felt honored to eat there. Sangria was lovely, tomatoes perfection. Pork chops- with apples and onions- every bite heavenly. The people are so kind and gracious, and accommodating to my lack of Spanish speaking skills. ❤️

We visited Casa Alberto on September 5th, 2025, as a group of 10 people. We were lucky to have Florentin as our waiter – besides the fact that we spoke English and Spanish, him knowing our native language – Romanian – was a huge life saver. Thanks to that, we understood the menu much better and felt more confident in our choices. His recommendations were spot on – the food was absolutely delicious, and we got to taste authentic Spanish dishes that perfectly matched the atmosphere of the place. On top of that, he shared some interesting insights about the restaurant itself, which made the whole experience even more special. Casa Alberto is definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for great food, authentic vibes, and attentive service. Highly recommend!

Definitely book if you want a seat in the restaurant. Such a good variety of traditional food such as beef cheeks or fresh hake. Seen some reviews saying the staff were not friendly - they do not speak much English & are super busy so do not let this put you off. Such a good atmosphere and was made to feel welcome.

We came here twice for dinner, once on a weekday and once on a weekend, both times between 7:30-8:00p. There was a small line both times but the wait wasn't too long. We had counter seating at the bar once and a small table by the door the other. Both times, the servers were really friendly. We spoke broken Spanish very apologetically, but our servers were patient and even encouraging us to try out our horribly accented Spanish to order and interact with them. Our drinks and food arrived fairly quickly. We ordered the stuffed pimento (very flavorful), smoked sardines with guacamole (refreshing and tasty), patatas bravas (I think the best we had our whole week in Spain), and carracoles (delicious and saucy). Our servers changed halfway through our meal the first time, as one of them ended his shift, but he made sure to point out his relief and took time to say goodbye on the way out. The second time we visited, we tried the veal meatballs and the trotters stuffed with tail. The meatballs were tender and juicy, easily cut by just a fork with the most delicate and delicious sauce. The trotters with tail were fall-apart tender and cut like butter, with a deep rich gravy. The mashed potatoes were super buttery and paired really well. I'd highly recommend this place for good food and friendly service.

You will come for the home made vermut and stay for the blood sausage brownie! The anchovies are pretty dynamite too. This venerable classic tapas joint is super popular so come early or be prepared to wait. The staff are super friendly while dealing with the fantastic controlled chaos of a busy, loud, crowded, fun environment. Exactly the way a great tapas joint ought to be! Salut!
