CHILA

We loved CHILA in Barcelona but this location fell very short of our experience there, mostly due to service and atmosphere. The atmosphere is so boring. Literally everyone in there was staring at a phone. It was like being in some cult. Even tables that had more than one person sitting at them were silent and scrolling on their phones. It was just very strange. This isn't the restaurant's fault and they can't control it, but it really made the whole vibe feel a bit uncomfortable. If you are addicted to your phone though, you'll be very comfortable here! :) Service was friendly but forgetful and insanely SLOW. It felt like we waited an hour for some of the dishes. Kinda unacceptable for a Chinese restaurant. We had to constantly ask the server, and I think he forgot one of the dishes as it came so late into the meal and only after asking about when it was going to arrive. The flavours were familiar and decent, but maybe it was the overall vibe, but it just didn't hit the same way as when I've been to CHILA before. Good heat and it was nice to have a on a cold day, but it fell below my expectations. There are better Chinese spots in the area.

Amazing dishes, one of the best Chinese restaurants! Maybe it's the Hunan cuisine🙂, but every dish is an absolute perfection! If you like spicy dishes, it'' absolute must! Super nice interior, extremely easy to order, nice service, good prices. Highly recommended!

Favorite Chinese restaurant in Madrid. The Sea Bass and the eggplant are absolute highlights. The tofu is also wonderful. The 宫保鸡丁 is a bit dry but still tasty. Great Jasmine Tea. Love this place as you can always rely on it for amazing food !!

We were shopping in Madrid and looking for a Chinese restaurant nearby. We found this gem of a Chinese restaurant for lunch. We ordered the Aged Chicken Soup and the Imperial Chicken with some extra spices! Amazing food and great service. You can order everything from the table using the QR code on the table and the order goes straight to the kitchen. I will definitely be visiting again whenever I am in the vicinity.

The food are tasty but a bit too salty and added to much oil. The spicy food is pretty authentic and perfect to pair with the white rice. The waitress is very attentive and efficient. Would love to visit again next time we come to Madrid
