One of the best brunch experience w ever had! The food was so delicious, and our coffees were superb! Our server was the sweetest. You can tell that they do everything with love and care. Our kids really enjoyed their experience here! Highly recommend when you visit Madrid to support this excellent cafe!
🌟 Delightful Dining at Carmencita – A Must-Visit in Madrid! ⭐ 4.8 out of 5 stars Carmencita completely won me over — so much so that I visited two different branches during my stay in Madrid! The food was consistently delicious, fresh, and full of flavour. From their mains to drinks, every bite and sip was a treat. The ambience is relaxed and inviting, with a warm, cozy vibe that instantly makes you feel welcome. I especially appreciated that the space is open and inclusive — proudly gay-friendly, which added an extra layer of love and respect to the experience. It's a place where everyone feels at home. The staff were amazing — friendly, attentive, and happy to speak English or at least give it a go. They offered fantastic menu recommendations and really contributed to the feel-good energy of the space. A standout detail that I absolutely loved? They bring a glass water bottle and cups to your table without you even asking. It’s such a thoughtful, rare touch — and something I truly appreciated during my travels through Spain. While the space can feel a little tight when it's busy (I had people bumping my chair a few times as they came and went), it’s a small trade-off for such a warm, buzzing environment. And honestly, it just goes to show how popular this place is — for good reason. Great value for money, generous portions, and delicious food all around. I highly recommend Carmencita to both locals and international visitors. I’ll definitely be returning the next time I’m in Madrid! ❤️
Try to make a reservation if you can. It helps the restaurant. We had no reservation but they had a table available (we were just 2, highly recommend if you are more than 2 to make a reservation!) The place is lovely, the menu is delicious. When trying a new place for breakfast and end always with Benedict eggs. Although the huevos rancheros looked way good but.. Benedict eggs was my choice . I got the ones with jamón Iberico and my companion got the salmon and avocado ones. The orange juice is a must if you go to a place with real fresh orange juice and not prepackaged. Something I keep enjoying in Madrid. The coffee was my saving grace that day. I needed some caffeine in my system after a full day sans.
Amazing brunch spot. The food was delicious, the coffee and mimosas were spectacular and when I tell you this chocolate cake was to die for?! Very sweet staff and the music was also vibey.
Excellent food. Great value for money. Good quality food and dessert. Very satisfying. We also had a mimosa and a coffee.
