My husband & I came across this gem of a restaurant recently and cannot recommend it enough to anyone looking at booking. The owner Daniel was extremely friendly and went over and above to ensure we fully enjoyed the experience in his restaurant, which is run by him and his wife. He explained the dishes of which there are many and so we asked him to choose for us. Daniel smokes the fish himself and our starter was absolutely delicious - mix of smoked fish, recommend anyone who loves fish to order this. If you love good food and a place which is traditional, welcoming & relaxing and you want to get away from the tourist area then you must go here

I live in Barcelona and eat excellent food on a regular basis, but the dining experience I had here is one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. The service was a breath of fresh air as the owner was absolutely attentive, kind, informative and helpful. He seemed genuinely happy to move between the three tables of the restaurant to help everyone make the most out of their respective meals. With only three tables, the entire experience is like having a lovely family dinner with people you don’t know. Everything we ordered was excellent, but of course, the smoked fish was the star. The flavor was so delicate and the preparation with a shot of vodka was such a memorable touch. The flamequin and potato pancakes were also flavorful and nicely prepared. The price point is excellent given the quality of the cuisine. I will always seek this restaurant out when in Málaga.

This is a small but great family owned restaurant that serves Spanish and Russian food. We not only enjoyed every plate of food we ordered, but also enjoyed talking to Daniel. He recommended some food and drinks, gave us wine to try and served free small appetizers. Daniel will teach you how to drink vodka too! The next time we are in Malaga we will come over there for dinner. I recommend making a reservation because the restaurant is very small.

From start to finish, the experience in this restaurant was fantastic. Simple food done extremely well - you could feel their passion for the food in the way it was cooked and presented. But more than the food, Daniel gave us an experience that took us through the different cultures and cuisines that make this restaurant experience truly personal and unique. 10/10 - a must visit!

Wow! A unique dining experience, not only for Malaga standards, but beyond. The restaurant only has three tables. This is because the owner likes to have a close relation with the customer. He explains the history of the restaurant and its cuisine and also gives recommendations about the dishes. The house special is the smoked fish. Just delicious! In addition to the fish, he offers you a vodka shot and toasts with you explaining the Russian tradition for having vodka shots. The reataurant is nicely decorated, with a warm and cosy atmosphere. Will definitely repeat!
