The Carrillada was AMAZING! So soft, and the sauce complimented it so well, balancing the sweetness of the sugar cane with the salt-potatoes. Special thanks go our to Dani for the service and great dish-recommendation. Found the prices a bit expensive in general, and the menu a bit complicated to follow, but overall a good experience.

We went to this restaurant because it had such high ratings on Google, but honestly, it was a huge disappointment. We ordered the seafood paella, which was supposed to be a highlight. Instead, it was bland and completely lacking in flavor. The shrimps were dry and overcooked. Our kids had burgers, and even those weren’t properly cooked. Nothing tasted fresh or well-made. We left feeling really let down. To be honest, we’re starting to suspect that many of the positive reviews might be fake. Definitely not worth the hype.

We had dinner at Casona Los Marangós and loved it. Our waitress deserves a special mention—she was genuinely friendly, attentive, and helpful with suggestions. We were seated right away, almost no waiting time, and everything came out with perfect timing. The ambience is cozy and charming, and the terrace puts you right in the heart of Málaga’s Centro. We ordered the seafood paella, which was exactly what you hope for: flavorful rice, fresh prawns and mussels, and bright lemon wedges—super tasty and served piping hot. Portions were generous, and the whole experience felt welcoming from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great hospitality and good food in a central spot. We’ll gladly come back.

Absolutely amazing! Delicious food!! We loved tapas and the seafood paella. Service was very fast and nice. Also everyone was very friendly. Honestly it felt very good after trying the tourist traps. Definitely will visit again. Prices are reasonable.

We were sat at a nice table outdoors and ordered straight away as we wanted paella and they advertised theirs was the best on their front chalk board. We were told it was a 25 minute wait and that was fine. But, we ended up waiting a full hour and it only came after we asked. When it came out there was a skin on top and it was obvious it had been sitting for a while. The table next to us sat down 30 minutes after us and also ordered paella which came minutes after ours. Theirs was steaming hot and the rice was fluffy unlike ours that was gluggy. Once finished, other tables around us were cleared but we had to sit with all our dishes. We had to ask 3 times for the bill to arrive. It felt like our table was invisible for some reason. We were never rude or unreasonable (even though we felt like we wanted to be) so cannot understand the complete lack of good service for our table only. For our first experience with paella in Spain, it was very disappointing.
