The food we had was some of the best we have had anywhere in the world and we eat in a lot of places and countries. Incredible value for the price. Service was impeccable. They pair things that you don’t even know can be paired. All local wines and beers. And we walked out of there for a price much lower than some of the very forgettable meals we have had in other parts of the city and country. Truly a gem ! Highly recommend.
Spent a fun evening with my partner there to celebrate birthday. Fun atmosphere very somewhere in between a chefs table and Japanese Izakaya style. Tasting menu had a very fair price and I discovered and learned a lot. Also liked the wine pairing even so sometimes I thought that in order to keep it regional compromise was made. Would def go again.
Alfalfa's @restaurante_espacio_t has a single, 18-seat, circular table. At one end of the table, the chefs prepare the dishes, while those seated outside can watch the live action. The tasting menu, consisting of one aperitif, six salty dishes, and two desserts, costs €75. The maridaje (wine tasting menu) consists of 100% Andalusian wines. The wines were selected and paired by sommelier Gloria Carmona. Pairings 2, 5, and 6 could have been more compact. Our favorite dish was the "Matices de tomate/cacahuetes," which features tomato ice cream, pink and red tomatoes presented in different forms. Now, let's get to our criticisms: When the first dish was served, we noticed a small fly had landed in it. This situation, which occurred during the serving, is unacceptable when you're offering service at this level and in a city like Seville at €75. The quality of the produce is good, but the sugar balance in some dishes could have been better. The staff is professional and courteous.
Went here last November, and had a great experience. The chef explained each dish to me, and each one had a unique taste. The avocado-wasabi-milk dessert surprised me the most, I love it so much! The staff was really friendly as well
Outstanding and headed for a Michelin star. All of the food here is locally sourced and deliciously fresh. The chefs explain every dish at the table and watching them prepare each dish is fascinating. Get the wine pairing, which comprises exclusively Andalusian wines and is expertly narrated by the sommelier. Will return when next in Seville.
