An authentic Hunan restaurant right in the center of Seville — the spice really hits the spot! The interior is modern with touches of Chinese design, and there’s plenty of seating. Portions are generous and the flavors are excellent, with the stir-fried beef being the top recommendation.
No wait when I arrive(around 1pm) and good environment, not noisy. The foods are really good, better than most Chinese restaurants I ever tried in Europe. Mainly served hunan dishes, a bit spicy for me
This Chinese restaurant is specialised in Hunan cuisine. It is famous for a strong flavours and spiciness. The atmosphere is calm and nice. It is different from your Chinatown restaurant or takeaway. The decoration is very tasteful. When we arrived, we were greeted by two Spanish staff and we ordered our food by scanning the QR code on a table. once you land on the digital menu, you could see the food pictures so you will have a better idea what you are ordering. We are a family of three we ordered: The pan fried squid, the Hunan smoked bacon with garlic shoot, Hunan style fried rice noodle, and a plain rice. As a Chinese, I can say the taste is very authentic. It tastes just like what I had in Hunan. You can choose your own spicy level. We have a young child with us so we chose the mild level. The portions were just enough for us three, we left with a very satisfied tummy I will definitely come back again if I am in Seville again.
What a wonderful restaurant. I noticed it from the Google Map. I was shocked by the decoration and detail management and, of course, especially the fancy foods they served us, at a very fair price, I believe this is the best dining experience I've ever had in Sevilla during my 4-day trips there. Strongly recommend everyone to try this. If you like spicy food, you will not regret it!
I've noticed that many non-Chinese people take a look at the menu at the door and then leave, probably because they're not very familiar with Chinese cuisine. But as a Chinese person, I want to say that this is the most authentic Chinese food I've had abroad (in the U.S., Japan, Belgium, Singapore...). If you can handle spicy food and enjoy the multi-layered taste experience that rich dishes offer, don't miss this restaurant! In Beijing, 湘遇 is also a very authentic Hunan cuisine restaurant, highly recommended! By the way, if you find it too spicy, you can try a popular Chinese drink that helps reduce the sensation of spiciness: 王老吉,a traditional herbal tea from southern China.
