Marabunda Sevilla Restaurante tapas Bar

The BEST restaurant my partner and I had on our 10 day trip to Spain! Marabunda is a restaurant in Sevilla which puts a twist on traditional spanish food that blurs the line between casual and fine dining in a way that provides you with a delicious, artistic, and enjoyable experience. From the moment you walk inside this unassuming local restaurant located a short walk the tourist center, you are welcomed by a modern restaurant and a great song selection. Once seated you hold a menu with many familiar choices, of which you notice something different. The food which you ordered thinking that it would be just another delicious Spanish dish arrives and makes you stop and think for a moment, wondering if it was possible to blend food and art. All of the items we got were absolutely delicious and plated beautifully. My personal favorite was the special for the day: tuna tartar and well as the pork. We cannot recommend this place enough! From food, to service, to experience, this is a must eat when in Sevilla!

This restaurant is an absolute gem in Seville! The food is simply delicious—far beyond what we expected. While it’s not your typical tapas spot, the dishes here are exceptional. The prawn and chili crab noodles? Absolutely to die for! And the strawberry and blackberry ice cream dessert? So light and refreshing—perfect after a meal. There were so many other dishes we wanted to try; we just wish we had another stomach! The wine selection is also impressive, with a focus on natural wines rather than the usual traditional picks. The service was excellent—friendly and welcoming. We didn’t have a reservation, but they found us a spot at the counter by the kitchen, which honestly felt like the best seat in the house! One thing to note—the exterior might not hint at how amazing the food is, so don’t judge a book by its cover. Highly recommend this place!

Marabunda delivered an exceptional meal tonight. We enjoyed seven fusion tapas dishes, all carefully thought out - flavours were strong, food was of excellent quality, well cooked and everything paired well together. We enjoyed delicious drinks from a varied menu and two desserts from a simple but effective selection. Kind, friendly, relaxed and down-to-earth service. My friend spilled food and stained her dress and the waitress noticed and immediately helped her clean her dress - this was a wonderful personal touch; completely beyond our expectation and made our meal perfect. 🥰

A great twist on traditional tapas—this fusion-style bar is a welcome change from the usual. Almost everything we ordered was delicious, especially the tacos and the rich chocolate dessert. Surprisingly, the chicken wings (recommended by the staff) were some of the best we’ve had—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The staff were lovely and made the experience even better.

This was an exciting spot for food, especially when you’re looking for a break from other food spots in Sevilla. Our server was warm and friendly, very helpful with recommendations. Not all our choices were as good as I had been hoping for but still, satisfactory. The octopus was great!
