Happy to have stumbled upon this gem. The pinxos and the atmosphere is filled with authentic charm. The staff made the whole experience unforgettable, they were playful with their regulars and smiling to the travellers. Recommend for a quick bite and authentic Basquan experience

There are places that don’t chase trends, because they are the standard. This spot in the plaza? Pure class. No gimmicks, no fusion nonsense. Just time honored elegance: blue tiled walls that feel like they’ve seen a thousand slow afternoons, and pintxos that haven’t changed in years because they don’t need to. You sit outside with a cold beer or a glass of wine, the weight of the day slipping off your shoulders, watching the world move past in no particular hurry. This place isn’t loud about its greatness. It just is. And in a world obsessed with reinvention, that kind of quiet confidence is a beautiful thing.

Lived the pinxtos here, absolutely delicious and fresh, order at the bar, and they bring it to the table. Can get busy. Loved the interior. Blue and looks like an institution

A Bilbao institution with a lot of history. And their standards are still decently high. Not the best pinchos in the Basque Country but far from the worst we had. The grilled prawns were lovely also. Plenty of seating, and good service.

With a local vibe and food that doesn’t look too fancy this is a great place for a quick bite and drink. The prawn and clam pinto didn’t disappoint although it wasn’t anything to write home about. The jamon and mushroom pinto was basic but unpretentiously tasty.
