We enjoyed the supper and their outdoor to us. The Barata salad the grilled green peppers along with the octopus and scallops were extremely tasty. Well prepared served very hot. Obviously, this place, for a sit down dinner is a cut above.

Enjoyed the food. We had eaten pintxo’s here the night before and decided to go for the fancy sit down meal. It was excellent. Highly recommend both the sit down meal or stopping in for the Pintxos. Wine list is also great.

We enjoyed a delicious meal inside near the window where Anthony's service was attentive, generous and entertaining. This was the second dinner we had at Victor Montes during our two-week stay in the Basque region. We were delighted to discover it was still in business after having initially visited this establishment in 2018!

My first ever Pintxos experience and I absolutely loved it! The set up, the atmosphere and the food offering was great. Unfortunately as I don't eat pork, I couldn't try everything, but what I was able to eat was an experience I'd return for. Definitely worth the trip and worth giving it a shot!

Victor Montes is an elegant tapas bar on Plaza Nueva in the Old Town of Bilbao. Expecting the bustle of a busy bar, we were pleasantly surprised that the atmosphere here was more calm than at other venues we had visited. The staff were kind and helpful, explained the different tapas on offer and encouraged us to try different vermouths. Delicious morsels, friendly staff - great experience! Absolutely recommended!!
