The meal was delicious and generous quantity! Booking a table is a must since the space has limited capacity, they don’t speak English but we were able to accommodate broken Spanish. To order we showed the pictures from Google reviews. All went very well! The anchovies were superb! The way to order is by Menu 18€ each person with a starter, main dish (fish or meat), desert and coffee. Some dishes need to pay extra (most fish).

Delicious meal! I had the sea bass, my daughter the steak. It was a fixed menu for Aste Nagusia with many starters. The couple running the place were charming and interesting to talk to.

Outstanding. Authentic and home made cuisine. Unbelievable good value for money. That was the best fish I've ever had. The owner are extremely friendly. When they saw how quickly I ate the paella, the just came up with a second portion... A unique experience!

Visiting from Sydney Australia. We read the reviews and really wanted to try this place. Unfortunately we couldn’t make a reservation, but we walked in and the very lovely lady made space for us at the bar, they were so welcoming! The food was outstanding! Fresh, tasty, delicious and so filling. We left very happy. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. We highly recommend this place!!!

My favourite restaurant in Bilbao so far! We were lucky to get squeezed in without a booking . The owners are kind and patient with our lack of Spanish speaking ability, we showed them photos from Google reviews to order which worked a treat. The food was incredible and with such generous portions we skipped dinner today 😅.
