*AVOID* Not sure how this restaurant has any positive reviews as my experience was the complete opposite. Went for dinner with my wife. Waiter was attentive until we ordered by the glass instead of the bottle or the pricier glass he was recommending. Never saw him again after that, had to flag down other waiters as they walked past. No water was offered at any point. Bread was an after thought after our food arrived. Somehow the couple seated behind us was offered still or sparkling when seated? Not sure if it's a racial thing but given my skin tone, they very much made me feel like a second class citizen. View was mediocre, planters block the Guggenheim and honestly its not the right viewpoint to appreciate the building. Was a cloudy day but that doesn't change the sight lines. Food was not up to the standards of what I would cook myself, let alone what I would consider paying for, or expect in a 5* hotel restaurant. Presentation was wonderful, perhaps the chef missed their calling as a decorator? Tldr: Went in glowing from an amazing visit to the Guggenheim and left wishing I'd gone to the cute cafe outside the exit.
Great place for a cold drink and a snack with views of the Guggenheim and “The Puppy”
Go for a drink but don't eat the food! We ordered the scallops and they were not fresh. Waiter confirmed they had been previously frozen. The tuna tomato dish was under seasoned. Certainly not fine dining if serving previously frozen seafood. Service was lacklustre, had to get up and grab a waiter to receive butter/olive oil for the bread. I expect more from a 5 star hotel at 18 euros a plate. Txakoli wine was delicious, get a glass, enjoy the view and enjoy any other of the amazing restaurants in Bilbao.
Amazing rooftop and view. The service is a bit slow, even when there are not many people there. Food is just ok.
Wauw, what an experience to have breakfast here. The best view in the city! The buffet is really big, with lots of choice and all fresh foods. Delicious fruit, cakes, bread, granola, salmon, and don't forget to order a main dish from the menu. A place to remember!
