Restaurante Espurnes

After five years of living in Valencia, Espurnes still remains one of our top three favorite restaurants. Normally we do the menu del día (it always has fabulous combinations and flavors) during the week but family was visiting Valencia on a Saturday. So, we had the burrata salad, papas bravas, garlic shrimp and red tuna salad off the Del Mar menu. It was all incredibly delicious. Every time we try something new on the menu, we are happily surprised. Make a reservation and come enjoy one of the best kept secrets in Valencia.

Fantastic food and great atmosphere. It was in a small alley and we sat outside. Nice and cooling. Food was delicious. We were served by Mica. She gave great wine recommendations plus the cheesecake recommendation. It was delicious!

We came for dinner and ordered the grilled Iberian Pork and the Bravas Espurnes. Both were cooked to perfection and were some of the best meals I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was also very friendly and the waiters were nice. Would recommend!

Delicious food, calm people watching, nice bathroom (important when walking a lot), and very friendly service. The best salad I’ve had in Spain and fantastic anchovies!

Modern lively atmosphere with friendly staff. Clean, good music, excellent beer and wine. Food was great. We tried the tomato with tuna salad, then the seafood rice. I also had the cheesecake for pudding (amazing). Loved the feel of the bar and staff so friendly. Well worth a visit. Just off the main old town, cathedral area
