Nou Gourmet | Restaurants València Centre

A very nice restaurant with excellent service. The location is excellent for those in the center or Russafa. Food was very well prepared and each dish included simple, yet high quality ingredients. The baby squid was the highlight for me. The wine list was also very good and reasonable. We had a group of 8, and they accommodated our large group very nicely.

We went to Nou gourmet for my birthday. We’ve walked by several times and I thought it would be a nice experience. I was so wrong. The Restaurant needs to pay attention to what’s coming out of the kitchen. I get it , it’s hard to taste for seasoning when you’re making a paella but, please know the salt content of your stock!! Very salty paella! We ordered the lobster paella. When it arrived it had a strange green color with a split lobster in the center. It also had what I think are small scallops (I hope not) because whatever it was it had the texture of a rubber bullet. The eggplant was ok but cold. The jamon was good as were the scallops in the shell. We just moved into the neighborhood……I guess we keep looking!!

The best tomato salad in Valencia. The 35 days aged ribeye was amazing. I couldn’t believe the reviews were not as high as it should be. I would be back here anytime.

Excellent, we take many guests here for evening dinners, the food is very good and excellent value, service is always attentive and friendly. Great place to eat and enjoy

We stopped here for lunch on our last day in València after shopping and before heading to the airport, so we were hot, tired, hungry and needed refreshment before the journey home. This was such a fantastic find! We had the seafood paella and beer. The paella was delicious, the best we had while we were there, and the portion was perfect for 2 people. The beer was ice cold and refreshing. The restaurant itself is really lovely, nicely decorated and serene. The service was okay, would have been a perfect 5 out of 5 if the server was a bit more welcoming and not so aloof. Maybe it was just the language barrier? In any event, I’ll definitely go back if I’m ever back in València.
